Financial Accountant / Treasurer (Maternity Cover)
Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Management of the financial accounting function, and the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Cash management and treasury duties, including the administration of petty cash
  • Preparation of VAT returns / EC Sales / Intrastat reporting
  • Accounts Payable: Coding, matching and processing of invoices
  • Investigating and resolving queries relating to purchase invoices
  • Sales Ledger: raising invoices, re-issuing invoices and raising credit notes (miscellaneous)
  • Allocating all payments (payables & receivables) onto the ledger
  • Expense Function administration & processing (credit cards & expense claims)
  • Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
  • General Administration Duties/Filing
  • Work effectively as part of the team
